So our girl Miley Cyrus sometimes makes iffy choices with her slutteriffic outfits and pole dancing performances, but here’s one that should get some attention in the right way. The pop star is organizing am online celebrity auction with all proceeds going to benefit relief efforts in Haiti.

“Ever since the earthquake, I’ve been trying to do my part to help the
people of Haiti – and I wanted to do more,” Cyrus tells PEOPLE.
Starting Feb. 8, fans can go to Ebay.com/Miley to bid.

Cyrus donated a few items herself, the Herve
Leger dress she wore to the Jan. 31 Grammy Awards as well as two
tickets to the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming film, The Last Song in which she stars with BF Liam Hemsworth (pictured February 7, 2010 to visit Ashley
Tisdale during the Super Bowl in Los Angeles, California).

Miley texted her pals like Nicole Richie, who will donate from her House of Harlow line.
Britney Spears also donated, who is offering her 2008 VMA dress.

At least there’s hope for America’s youth: some of Miley’s peers should follow her example
