Any apprehension that Miley Cyrus wouldn’t be able to repeat the success of her last movie as her Disney channel alter ego was completely washed away after Hannah Montana: The Movie exceeded expectations this weekend.

The film nabbed the coveted top spot over the holiday, taking in $34 million, well over the $31.1 million earned by Miley’s movie Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. As for the star herself, Miley kept it simple on Easter Sunday, opting for a walk out with the family dogs with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

As for the Jonas Brothers, we suspect they’re at home, pouting and wondering if maybe they shouldn’t each invest in a blond wig.
