27-year-old Miranda Lambert won four trophies at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, including Top Female Vocalist of the Year, an award she also held last year. Lambert’s chart-topping track “The House that Built Me” grabbed three trophies, namely Single, Song, and Video of the Year.
The Band Perry took home two trophies, including top new artist, at the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards last night. Another big winner: Taylor Swift, who won Entertainer of the Year after a record number of voters – nearly 600,000 – picked her for the academy’s most prestigious award.
Entertainer of the Year is the only award for an artist or band determined by fans. Fans could vote during the show and while she performed “Mean,” a song railing against her critics. Swift beat Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw, among others.

“If I Die Young” was a smash hit for The Band Perry and was certified platinum. Other notables winners include Zac Brown and Alan Jackson for top vocal event for “As She’s Walking Away.”
