Mischa Barton‘s rep shot down the claim that Mischa Barton tried to kill herself. Barton’s rep claims that the rumors are “absolutely false,” discrediting the source as “far from knowledgeable.”

“The network and studio have been supportive of Mischa’s casting and subsequent recovery all along,” Barton’s rep added.

Barton was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold (also known as a 5150) by the Los Angeles Police Department a few weeks ago.

She’s looking good and healthy, as she’s seen here leaving a salon yesterday with her dogs Ziggy and Charlie.
