Mischa Barton’s Return To Television

May 21st, 2009 // Leave a Comment

That’s right. Mama needs a paycheck and after life after The OC, suddenly a steady job on a tween drama is no longer beneath her majesty.

Mischa Barton will soon be seen on the new CW series The Beautiful Life. The show, which has Barton cast in a supporting role, focuses on the cutthroat modeling industry which means there will be lots of backstabbing, weave and underwater photoshoots with tigers. I’m basing this, of course, on America’s Next Top Model.

Lock up those hungry people and throw in a box of donuts and watch the fists fly!

Mischa Barton posted her reaction to the show being picked up on her blog. I’ve been traveling so extensively that I barely had time to react to my pilot getting picked up for a Fall launch. Production is supposed to get underway as of mid July and I couldn’t be more thrilled to call the likes of Ashton Kutcher boss; not to mention being affiliated with the CW.  Think America’s Next Top Model will be the perfect lead-in.
