Thought I’d get clever with the post title. After receiving tons of emails requesting that I bring back my music picks, I’ve decided to bring the feature back. I’ll be posting the recommendations once a month, in a nice little iTunes iMix package, so you can hear previews of the songs as well. So without further adieu, here are my recommendations for July 2005:

There is a little more dance and electronica than usual, but I think that’s due to the fact that it’s the summertime (party music). My favorite song by far is “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt. I love tortured vocalists.
