‘Modern Family’ Cast: 2011 SAG Awards Red Carpet

The boys from the Modern Family cast brought the funny to the 2011 SAG Awards red carpet. Rico Rodriguez and Nathan Gould seemed to be having blast while making their way into the auditorium.

Winner Sofia Vergara brought the sexiness to the red carpet in her royal blue Cavalli gown. Her cast member Sarah Hyland looked stunning in Max Mara, while Julie Bowen donned a controversial Catherine Malandrino pantsuit.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Ed O’Neill had no idea they were going to be taking home “the actor” for Best Comedy Series Ensemble, but they and the cast lived it up backstage at the awards.

The elated bunch included Sofia Vergara, who dished to cameras that Ed O’Neill, her on-screen husband, is “a very, very good cook. He likes sexy food.” Not that Ed minded the compliment. “When you get old, you cook!”

When the cast was in the photo room, photographers asked for just the ladies of the cast to pose together. Julie Bowen kept saying no. When pressed on why, she jokingly responded, “Because I don’t want to stand next to her!” (pointing to Sofia Vergara).
