Mo’Nique has literally shut.awards.season.down.

Her acceptance speech when winning Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role was fueled with emotion, humility and grace when thanking her Precious affiliates like director, Lee Daniels and the Each One, Teach One students who were the inspiration behind the film.

In true Sally Field form, I almost wanted to yell out, “You love me! You really love me!”

For the red carpet, Mo’Nique opted for a classic cream colored gown and wore her hair in soft waves that were simplistic yet appropriate. She looked absolutely stunning.

Hope she’s saving room on her mantle for all these awards she’s racking up because she’s a definite favorite for the Academy Awards just around the corner.
