Sure, it was widely reported by a number of international media outlets that Amy Winehouse had wed very quietly this past Friday. But it wasn’t until I read that her significant other, Blake Fielder-Civil, had changed his MySpace status from single to married that I thought, “Whoah, I guess they are serious.”
The two married with nary a guest in sight on Friday at the Miami-Dade County marriage license bureau, after which they headed over to the Big Pink Diner for a bite to eat. The Daily Mail reports:
Arriving back at Miami’s Shore Club Hotel separately, the couple refused to talk to reporters, but Amy winked when asked if she was married. Blake, 24, said: “We had a good day but I can’t really talk about it.”
