This time, the rumor is that Britney’s branching out from the “aspiring musician” genre and is looking to date a basketball player, most specifically, Luke Walton of the L.A. Lakers . The Daily Star (“Simply The Best 7 Days A Week”) reports:
A Lakers source said: “They would be an unlikely looking couple with him towering over her.
“But Britney’s not had much luck with men so why not give Luke a go?
“His people and her people are trying to thrash out a date when they can have a bite to eat and then we’ll see what happens.”
I know that “thrash out a date” is just a turn of phrase, but it really just sounds incredibly painful. Or sexy. I haven’t decided yet.

Should’nt dating be the last thing on her mind after all she has went through in the last few months?
I just think she should stop worrying about dating and men, and take it easy, be with her kids, and when the time is right Mr. Right or Wrong will show up.

And I don’t think someone who is a source at the Lakers would use the British expression “to give something a go”.
