I assume that they have nothing better to do, but the UK’s MTV held a ‘Giant Tomato Fight’ in London where people could take part in the giant mess, tossing more than 25,000 tomatoes at each other.
They had two celebrity look-a-likes pitting against one another: Katy Perry vs Lady Gaga. Hard to tell who the victor was. Even harder to care since it wasn’t the real singers themselves because if either would have truly participated, I would have put money on that contest.
MTV put on the event to recreate the Spanish ‘Tomatina’ food throwing contest. All I can think of is all that acidity…blech.
