Backstage at the London Julien Macdonald fashion show, Naomi Campbell says that she avoids reading less-than-flattering press about herself, which I guess means she probably makes a point of NEVER accidentally stumbling upon this blog.
The notoriously hot-tempered supermodel recently received a sentence that included five days of community service and two days of anger management. According to Campbell, the incident in question–throwing a cell phone at Ana Scolavino, her ex-housekeeper–was a big misunderstanding.
“This was an accident, because I did not intend to hit her,” Naomi said in court.
And really, can we punish the woman for having good aim? Because I think that’s what the bottom line is here. But Naomi isn’t one to let a little litigation get in the way of her throwing some whopping helpings of charity at the heads of those in need.
“I still do my charity work. I’ve being doing it since ’92,” said Campbell, who was named “best model” at the Elle Style Awards on Monday. “I’ve never done it for public adulation; I’m not talking about it or promoting it.”

Mmmm, yes you are talking about it, you sociopathic minx. I see multiple beatings of housekeepers and aides in Naomi’s future, due to the fact she really doesn’t think she’s done a damn thing wrong. Eh, she can afford to pay off the victims, but I think pics of her picking up trash in prada boots will be amusing.
Well ya see, if she stage-whispers “By the way, I’m into philanthropy”, then we might hand her a bag of cell phones and look the other way. :)
