Natalie Portman Loves Her Filthy Hip Hop

August 27th, 2009 // 2 Comments

Remember when Natalie Portman teamed up with Andy Samberg for her rap debut with their SNL short together? Well it seems the actress’ love for rap music is no joke.

The stunning 28-year-old star of Brothers recently sat down with her co-star, Jake Gyllenhaal, for a piece in Interview magazine. In the September issue, Portman confesses her passion for “really, really obscene hip-hop.”

As Portman explains it, “It makes me laugh and then it makes me want to dance. Those are like my two favorite things, so combined…”

So, what’s her favorite song from the genre? “Wait (The Whisper Song)” by the Ying Yang Twins. Of the obscenities, Natalie says, “So I just listen to it like I’m a 5-year-old, like, ‘Oh my God! I can’t believe he just said that!’”

Now there’s a woman after my own heart.
