It’s hard to believe that we’re looking back at the career of late actress Natasha Richardson. Carrying on the legacy of the Redgrave family of actors, Richardson lit up both the screen and the stage with her elegant, worldly presence.
The Tony-award-winning actress first made waves when she stepped out onto the stage at the tender age of 23 opposite her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, in the Anton Chekov play The Seagull. This performance earned her the London Drama Critics’ Circle prize for most promising newcomer.
It was for the lead role in Cabaret in 1998 that Natasha snagged her Tony and the compliment from New York Times critics of being “spectacular.” And it was her acting career that led her to love. She met her husband Liam Neeson on the set of their 1994 film together, Nell and the two have two sons together.
In her film and her family, Richardson’s legacy will assuredly endure.

Very, very nice photo gallery. You kind of get a feel for how close she and Liam were. How sad.
