After being taken off of life support, actress Natasha Richardson has died at the age of 45.
“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha,” Neeson’s rep, Alan Nierob, said in a statement. “They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
Richardson fell during a private lesson on a beginners trail Monday at the Mont Tremblant ski resort near Montreal.

The British-born actress, who was not wearing a helmet, seemed fine at first: She had no visible injuries and was even laughing and joking after the accident, a resort rep told Usmagazine.com.
About an hour later, she complained of a headache and was taken to the Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Ste-Agathe. She was later transferred to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Montreal. Neeson, who was in Toronto shooting a movie, rushed to her side.

I wonder if she was on some type of Blood Thinner (like Coumadin). I had a family member that died almost exactly the same way except she tripped on a sidewalk and was on Coumadin. Come to find out later that what happened to her was not unheard of for people that hit their heads while they’re on a blood Thinner
I was so hoping that her condition was not a serious as the rumors indicated. She appeared to be a beautiful woman who seemed to have a loving husband, nice boys and rich and rewarding life. Much peace to her family at this sad, sad time.
I am stunned. How horrific it is for such a lovely person to die so young, especially after a seemingly minor fall. Her poor family-I hope the press respects their need for privacy.
I have had the entire family in my prayers since I heard of the accident.I know that Liam has lost his love , best friend and compansion I could see the love they had for each other.I continue to keep Natash’s Loved Ones in my prayers that God will lead them thru and give them piece of mind.
