What is going on over at NBC? Their actors are dropping like flies! One of the best actresses working on TV today, Mariska Hargitay, is in the hospital with a collapsed lung and the host of that stupid-ass show with the briefcases and the hookers and the stupid-ass contestants, Howie Mandel, was rushed to the hospital yesterday with an irregular heartbeat.
Mariska, baby, don’t you quit on me now! We need Det. Olivia Benson! Mariska had a relapse of a collapsed lung that she also experienced at Christmas! It’s called a pneuomathorax (fun facts!) but her rep says that she will not miss any episodes this season. Jesus, why not just put a yoke on her and have her till the fields? Damn.
Howie was found conscious by police in an elevator at Toronto’s Queen St. Sheraton last night, and rushed to the hospital with severe chest pains. He was kept overnight to be tested because of an irregular heartbeat, but sources say that he might actually be suffering from an extreme case of exhaustion. He’s filming a brilliantly titled show called Howie Do It in Canada.
