Reuters reports that bad-ass Canadian Nelly Furtado is doing her part to push Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi out of power. Furtado tweeted that she’s going to donate the $1 million fee she earn from a 2007 performance for the Gaddafi family and guests at a hotel in Italy. “In 2007, I received 1 million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the $.”
No word yet on which charity will receive Furtado’s generous donation.

Furtado won Best Female Pop Vocal Album award back in November at the 11th annual Latin GRAMMY Awards in Las Vegas.
