September 19th, 2008 // Leave a Comment

-Two-time Schmemmy winner Kathy Griffin might be taking her show on the road. After winning her second award for the reality television series about the comedian’s daily life My Life on the D-List, Kathy is reportedly being aggressively courted. Page Six reports that the redhead is being offered “a multitiered deal, which would include hosting a late-night talk show, award shows, and continuing her reality show and comedy specials,” by a multitude of networks.

-Natalie Cole has been hospitalized in the midst of a promotional campaign for her newly-released album Still Unforgettable. The Grammy winner was diagnosed with hepatitis C in April and the effects of her chemotherapy to treat the disease has taken its toll on the singer, who has postponed her scheduled October performances.

-Alex Rodriguez is now officially a single man. The Yankee, who most recently was plagued by rumors of infidelity with pop star Madonna, was able to reach a divorce settlement with his now ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez. Luckily, he never stopped acting like a bachelor, so the transition should be a smooth one.
