-Nicky Hilton took matters into her own hands when she was shoved to the ground by a homeless person. The fracas took place just outside the West Hollywood (and NOT with the individual pictured here) IHOP at 5 a.m. Saturday morning. L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. spokesperson said, “came up behind Ms. Hilton and pushed her. She’s OK, but she was desirous of prosecution. She said, ‘I am placing you under citizen’s arrest!’ “
-Reports that claimed former teen pop idol Debbie Gibson was losing her home to foreclosure are false, according to Us Weekly. Her rep clarified, “Much to the chagrin of media everywhere, Deborah is simply moving in with her boyfriend of the last year [doctor/documentarian Rutledge Taylor].” Well, our chagrin has nothing to do with it. We’re happy for her!
-Congratulations to Sporty Spice! Melanie Chisholm gave birth to her baby girl Scarlet Starr on Sunday in London. The little one’s father is Mel C.’s boyfriend Thomas Starr and according to the pop star’s website, “Both mum and baby [are] doing fine.”
