-The Star Trek remake continues on its way with a press conference and road show with producer J.J. Abrams and stars Zoe Saldana and Chris Pine. Pine recently admitted that he made sure to pay tribute to the character created by the original James T. Kirk, William Shatner. “I wrote Bill when I first got the role and introduced myself and told him who I was and by way of apology told him I wasn’t trying to usurp his status because he is the ‘O.G.’ Captain James Kirk.”

-The lead singer of Barenaked Ladies, Steven Page, is leaving the group to pursue a solo career. The split is reported to be an amicable one and…I’m sorry, were they even still doing stuff?

-The love between Holly Madison and illusionist boyfriend Criss Angel has magically disappeared. After a four-month-long relationship, the couple have called it quits. A source told E!, “It was a conflict of schedules. She felt she couldn’t devote 100 percent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals.” Um, really? She couldn’t be naked in Vegas?
