- R&B singer Toni Braxton was absent from the finale of Dancing with the Stars due to a cancer scare. Doctors found a lump in her breast, and insisted that she have surgery immediately. Braxton, really into being on DWTS, waited until after she was eliminated before having it removed. It turned out to be benign, but she still had to miss the finale of the season she was on. Toni already deals with a heart disease called microvascular angina so she’s one tough lady.

- Jodie Sweetin of Full House fame seems to be making sure everyone knows that she’s in the middle of a divorce. Recent court papers (do you think the tabs really rooted around for these or she sent them over to People via snail mail?) indicate that Stephanie Tanner wants out of her 16-month marriage due to her husband Cody Herpin being a layabout. “Our house is in foreclosure, our water has been shut off twice. Currently, all of our other utilities are overdue,” she says in court papers and states that Herpin (unfortunate name) hasn’t looked for employment.

- A contestant on MTV’s A Double Shot At Love with the Ikki Twins (I’ll say) has been killed in a car accident. Kandice Hutchinson didn’t survive a car wreck on Oct. 21 in Texas. She had been eliminated from the show by the bisexual twins who replaced Tila Tequila on the grossfest. Producers have reportedly removed Hutchinson’s more outrageous behavior on the show from certain episodes out of deference to her family. Sad.
