Nick Lachey to Auction off Reminders of Marriage to Jessica

August 18th, 2006 // 5 Comments

Nick Lachey is so bitter about his break up with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, that he has decided to get rid of some special reminders from their relationship. The singer has decided to auction items on eBay from their three-year marriage. Proceeds made from the sale of the items will go to an educational charity.

I wonder if Nick will be auctioning off any Chicken of the Sea tuna? At least the children can benefit from the sale of reminders from the relationship of a ditzy blonde and her hunky husband. Although Nick is auctioning off the items, what about the episodes of Newlyweds that are still running on MTV in which they show the couple exchanging certain gifts? Oh well, Nick, I think it’s a grand idea, and it is for a wonderful cause. You definitely got the better end of the deal in this divorce. She moved on with Adam Levine, Johnny Knoxville, Dane Cook or whoever her flavor of the week is this week, while you get to date Vanessa Minnillo, possibly every guy’s ultimate girlfriend, who is beautiful smart, funny, and she loves sports!

More photos from Nick Lachey’s MTV Austrialia appearance are after the jump.

I can’t hate towards someone that wants to donate money to charity. And, Auctioning off who knows what (i’m going to check on ebay) is fine he could throw it away. :)

That’s pretty low. Just because something is under the guise of charity, doesnt mean there is good intention to it.I don’t see why he cant donate some money instead. Someone is still trying to play the PR game.

The proceeds of the sale of mementos from his marriage to an utter dumbass are going to an educational charity. That is actually rather funny.

Bit of subtle knife-twisting going on there.

I don’t really think this is appropriate. Regardless how much you are upset, it should not be dealt with this way.
