The National Enquirer is claiming that Nick Lachey proposed to his girlfriend, MTV talking head Vanessa Minnillo.
Nick Lachey has popped the question to gorgeous girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo – and the couple plan to marry this spring.
“They’re moving forward with plans for an April wedding,” a close friend told The ENQUIRER. The engagement comes slightly more than a year after Nick, 33, and Jessica Simpson announced their split. Now Nick and Vanessa are mulling destinations for their wedding and honeymoon, disclosed a friend.
Congrats to beefy Nick if this is true. Somewhere Jessica Simpson is sitting in the back of a limo waiting to exit and go cut the ribbon for a new Pizza Hut opening and thinking about how much bigger Nick’s biceps are as compared to John Mayer’s.

I agree with the thought “why so soon”. I like Nick and think he’s making a mistake here. He’s only been divorced a year and he’s already jumping on the matrimonial bandwagon again? I don’t think these two make a good couple and don’t see them being together for a long time. He should take his time.
