Senior publicist at PMK/HBH, Catherine Olim, has been let go by Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman. After a 15-year-professional relationship that extended through Kidman’s triumphant campaign for an Academy Award, the actress has selected Leslee Dart at 42 West as a replacement.

A source dishes to Nikki Finke, “Now that the bloom is off Kidman’s career, Olim got thrown to the ground. Hollywood is a tough business.” This, despite the fact that Olim was “slavishly devoted to her.”

In the wake of a lackluster return on the epic Australia, Kidman’s back to work on a movie set. Currently, she’s hard at work in Queens, filming Rabbit Hole. Well, if things are so bad, maybe she should just duck into a rabbit hole, take a break and then orchestrate a comeback. Those are always fun to watch.
