As you can see, the rumor that Nicole Kidman was going to be posing for a nude Vogue cover was completely bogus. Although, honestly with how tiny her belly is this late in the game, it’s really hard to see the difference and not just cause she’s clothed.
The porcelain-skinned age-challenged actress was met by photographer Annie Leibovitz on the set of Nicole’s upcoming action-adventure epic movie co-starring Hugh Jackman, where the photos were shot for Vogue‘s July 2008 cover, as well as an inside photo shoot.
In her interview with the mag, Nicole talks about her new home in Nashville and her marriage to Tom Cruise, which she claims she doesn’t regret. “Honestly, I would have stayed married for the rest of my life. It’s not like I regret who I was in that marriage; I don’t at all. It was eleven years of my life. It wasn’t 50 years; it turned out to be eleven.”
Oh my God, can you imagine a 50-year-contract being married to Tom Cruise? I wonder how long Katie’s in for … maybe if things go well after the first four, she’ll opt to re-enlist. She’s gotten way too used to those expensive haircuts and Barneys pit stops.

Ya know, I understand photoshopping out things like blemishes and flab, but to alter someone to the point that it doesn’t even look like them…I’ll never understand the point of that.

You took the words out of my mouth! These photos are almost like animation, the horse looks like it was drawn in there. I see no point in photos like this either.
Wouldn’t real untouched photos of her on a real horse in a real field be far more interesting ? I might buy the magazine then.
and was there some clause in her marriage contract that said she must continue to promote TC as a normal human being at various intervals throughout the rest of her lofe, once the marriage contract was terminated?

i, for one, LOVE these photos. they are so dramatic. staged? check. ps’d? check. weird, but beautiful woman? check. really hairy guy? check. unbelievable photography skills? double check. from a photographer’s pov, they’re spectacular.

They do look other-worldly/fairytale-like which I’m sure was Annie’s objective. Yes Peachpie and Applespice (now I’m hungry!), they are supposed to look like that. I like them, she must have a great printmaker working for her.
Stands to reason that Cruise had Nicole sign a contract that she would never speak ill of their marriage (or him) lest she be beamed-up by his space posse.

I love the photos. Nicole has always had porcelain, pale skin… Whether it’s genes or botox, well, that’s questionable. But I love the photos. Very dramatic. Very staged. But I think that’s the whole point. I like Nicole. She seems down-to-earth.
As for the small tummy, some women — especially if it’s their first pregnancy — don’t balloon like elephants. Lucky Nic.

they are supposed to look ‘fake’. They are on the set of their new movie. The cover shot of Kidman is of her hanging off a piece of film equiptment!!! Morons

ok, guys, I GET that they’re supposed to look fairy-tale like, and dramatic…but that doesn’t mean they have to alter a person to the point that it doesn’t look like her. you can still have that look to the photos but keep the subject looking like herself.
they didn’t do it to Hugh Jackman, I notice…
