Nicole Kidman will star as a transsexual in The Danish Girl with Charlize Theron. The film is
based on the true story of Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener, whose marriage became complicated once Einar (Kidman) stood in for a female model that Greta (Theron) wished to paint.
What began as a
lighthearted game eventually led Einer to a 1931 operation
that both stunned the public and threatened their marriage. And no it was not an appendectomy.
The film will be directed by Anand Tucker, of Shopgirl fame. Pre-production is underway. Both Kidman and Theron have already earned best actress academy awards playing lesbian characters (The Hours, Monster). Now they’re just being greedy.

Well at least the role won’t be much of a stretch for her because she has being looking more and more like a tranny in real life in recent years.
