Nicole Richie has checked into rehab. Probably because she realized the vast amount of drugs she had to keep taking to get over filming that scene for the new season of “The Simple Life” wherein her and Paris fake they’ve mended their fences wasn’t worth sacrificing her well-being for. Either that or she has an album coming out.
Actress and celebutante Nicole Richie has entered rehab for treatment of an eating disorder and substance abuse, according to media reports.
The emaciated Simple Life star checked into the Beau Monde Treatment Center in Corona Del Mar, California on May 11th, reportedly weighing in at 83 pounds.
The news comes amid reports that Richie has split with rocker beau Joel Madden.
Sydney’s Daily Telegraph claims the couple secretly split after attending the MTV Australia Video Music Awards last month.
The publication revealed that the Good Charlotte frontman Madden dumped Richie for being “too clingy.”
She’s been in there since the 11th? And they managed to keep it this quiet until now? So someone wants some publicity out of it. Seriously, when she was slightly pudgy and had a sad smile and all – I sorta felt for her being stuck as Paris’ sidekick. Then she went full-on L.A. bitch and got cranky and conniving and began driving the wrong way down the freeway with a jibba in her mouth and a bottle of Vicodin in her emaciated claw and I lost all empathy for her. Get well soon I guess.
I think releasing this info it’s not a publicity stunt. They released it now because of the bling item on page six. The meth addict starlet. It was so obvious it was Nicole that they had to release a statement saying she is getting help.
The girl is how old now? She was a heroin addict, anorexic, alcoholic and meth user. So so sad. She won’t live long and people will start idolizing her….ick…

Maybe she is down with the James Dean mantra? I hope she finds herself and gets straightened out or I’m afraid she won’t be on this Earth much longer. It is very sad…but then part of me wonders if this has something to do with her pending court date?
Really, I feel sorry for her. Mostly, because she “tries to live up to others” and do the things the “Hot” people are doing. Can’t she just come to terms with the fact that “She is killing herself?” and abandone all these wild lifestles. Can’t she just really live A SIMPLE LIFE?

Everything with those girls is a publicity stunt. How else are people going to pay attention to them? Even their infamous feud was faked. My friends and I have seen them all over town enjoying each others company while they were said to “no longer be friends”.

She never wanted to be admired, looked up to, a role model or whatever people think. she’s a normal girl like me or you. she is only striving for inner happiness and security. i admire her for her change in friends and dealing with that, for gaining strength against the harsh tabliods and kicking heroin. yes, she was addicted but did the whole world no about it at the time like Lindsay Lohan today? NO. she also kicked the habit, but ask yourself do you no any one addicted to drugs? ask yourself: how hard it is when no one understands, how hard it is to kick the habbit let alone having the whole world judge your every move and mistake,if your that deep into drugs your partying hard which let alone is hard to let go of the culture of being who she is and impressing her friends and keeping up with them,Her name is enough to cope with and hiding everything from people who are supose to be your friends..(entourage, can you trust anyone?). i say good on nicole for being the person she is today! she has a wicked style and is doing her own thing not follwing fellow Paris hilton lindsay lohan. Nicole is human and we humans make mistakes and learn from them, maybe if we (the society) stoped judging Nicole so much she would get better because at the end of the day we could be adding to her grief of living and thats why she has taken drugs. we do not no her, we dont no whats going on inside her mind or body so we cant say there is nothing and to stay strong because if everyone whos going through things sticks together, we can all make it.
