Two kids, check. Established successful careers, check. What’s left…? If you live in Hollywood then its probably time to get married. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are going conventional and the jokes on us.
“Yep. i’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same,” Madden Tweeted. No need to laugh directly in our face, Joel. Richie spilled the beans that the couple is engaged on Late Show with David Letterman and the wedding is said to be happening this summer. So why tell us at all? Why not enjoy a paparazi free wedding? Good time for a People article about the wedding and with a large focus on Richie’s new sitcom?
All right I’ll shelve the cynicism for some good old fashion congratulations! Being with Joel and having his baby, you’ve pretty much gone on the straight and narrow so I’m happy for you and happy you didn’t stay in that last relationship.
