Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are smitten with 16-month-old daughter, Harlow, who’s up and walking about. In Touch is reporting that the couple, who are expecting a second child this fall, are going to be giving Harlow Madden a baby brother.

“Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue,” reveals another pal of the couple, who adds that Nicole refers to the baby as “he.” “Plus, she recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue.”

This could very well be true, but I somehow doubt that every toy that Nicole bought for her unborn baby was blue. That’s sounding a little far fetched to me.
