After a long day of shooting on the set of “The Simple Life,” Nicole Richie complained of light-headedness and was rushed to the hospital, according to Usmagazine. The magazine reports that Richie had a 20-hour day of shooting, after which she napped briefly and was rushed through hair and make-up before getting a chance to eat. It was at this time that she began feeling faint.
“Nicole has gained weight and is doing really well,” says the source. She is proud of that. The producers overreacted–she didn’t need to go to the hospital.”
Following her brief hospital stay, Richie’s rep issued this statement: “Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening. We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health.”
This all sounds completely reasonable, if the above circumstances really are accurate. But it still doesn’t convince me that she’s got enough meat on her bones just yet. She looks like a preemie who has gained just enough weight to get herself out of that little incubator thing.

I dont think she was anorexic you are referencing to when she was huge from drug rehab. Im in highschool and you dont have time to eat sometimes. Wake up at six 25 get fressed get stuff bus 5 min down street. Your not allowed to eat out of study which i dont have get home 3 do work all night you forget to eat sometimes. She might of been busy granted we dont see what shes doing as work but their is a reason were called generation ritalin the proces of remembering everything from perfect face bringing all supplies turn off phone turn stuff in check all details. Plus i think she s prescribed to aderall where your hungry but all food makes you feel full.
Saw her yesterday, she’s carrying a little fat above her hips! She’s really tiny, tho- barely 5′tall.
I love it when “celebs” (and I use that term loosely) are hooked on drugs and go into rehab or the hospital for “exhaustion”. What a crock! What could they possibly be exhausted from? Shopping?
