Nicole Richie was shocked recently when a photographer yelled out to her, “Nicole, you look disgusting. Gain some f–cking weight!” A little while later, a shaken Richie walked right up to the photographer’s window and, in tears, verbally confronted him. She explained the incident to US Weekly.
“You don’t scream at people that they are overweight, so what makes people think that they have the right to scream at me that I am underweight? It’s upsetting and mean,” Nicole tells Us. “I am not anorexic. At the moment, I was just sick of everyone constantly bothering me about how I look. I walked up to the photographer and told him, ‘What if I really had anorexia? What if I had a disease? How would you feel about saying such horrible things?’ He probably just wanted to get a rise out of me, but I’m a human being and he hurt my feelings.”
She does have point.

So everyone is telling her to put on some weight. If she didn’t have a problem, she’d listen and take the advise.
Instead she decides to punish her poor underfed body with a beach workout.
That says it all.

What do you say to someone who has had her stomach stapled so she’ll NEVER gain weight?
She’s right, she isn’t anorexic, she can only eat bird-size amounts of food. A timble full of food isn’t much, but when you’ve had your stomach stapled, it’s a lot!!
She’s under enormous pressure in Hollyweird to be thin, thin, thin, because that is the life she has chosen.
Too bad, it’s all very, very sad!!

In elementary school I was a chubster and I got told a lot of crap. I finally grew a couple of inches and my body grew into itself.
Beign obese isn’t healthy. But beign really under weight isn’t any better

a) Fat people get called on being fat all the time. Personally I don’t understand it, it’s a little like telling smokers that cigarettes are bad for them. “Excuse me, did you notice that you’re really really fat? I just thought someone should let you know.”
b) Maybe if Nicole did a little less meth, she would realize that people think she’s anorexic because she looks it, it’s not just her paranoia. Plus for someone who obviously doesn’t have reserves stored away, she sure has a lot of energy to spare.

I think all you people (the other commenters) are haters. Just because she’s in shape doesn’t mean you guys have to be mean and throw around accusations! Why are all you people bashing her. I don’t get any of you. You don’t even know her and I think all of you are highly immature for having nothing better to do than to talk crap about someone you don’t even know, about somone you only see on T.V. or whatever. I’m not perfectly in shape but I’m not superly skinny either. Im fine the way I am but some of you may not be and maybe why you’re bashing her is because you hate the way you look and are otherwise, JEALOUS!

Maybe they don’t scream at people for being overweight, but they sure as hell don’t acknowledge them or make them feel as beautiful as they should feel.
I’m sorry the person who screamed it hurt your feelings, but come on now, look at you. You are WAY too skinny. Sorry carrie1507, but I’m personally NOT jealous of Nicole Richie. I’m proud of who I am and how I look, I just think she’s fallen into this trap… this horrid idea of what a “beautiful” woman is supposed to look like. Look at our world today, what’s considered “beautiful” is a skinny girl, with a big chest, a big butt and clear skin. Girls nowadays feel like they HAVE to be skinny in order to get attention by other people and unfortunately that’s true in many cases.
I’m not trying to sit here and bash on her or anything, and I’m not trying to call carrie1507 out but I these people are just voicing their opinions as well, so there’s no need to bash on them.
