And by us, I mean, the photo-hungry, unscrupulous dregs of society also known very loosely as “the media.” For those of you not living in Los Angeles, it was the perfect beach weather (as you may have noticed by the tons of Malibu pictures we’ve had recently) and Nicole Richie was one of the many celebs spotted out at the beach.

The tiny award-winning mother stopped to take pictures of a dance ensemble performing on the beach, but when the cameras were turned on her, a member of her entourage halted the shutterbugs, saying, “You need to stop.”

Those photogs are just lucky Nicole doesn’t run with surfers. They’re a bloodthirsty group.
