After venturing into the arena of jewelry sales, Nicole Richie is trying her bony hand at designing a maternity line, which will include “a clothing line, shoes, belts, everything.”

Cause you know, you’re really going to want to strap on a belt when your midsection is expanding at an exponential rate. Pregnant with her second child with boyfriend Joel Madden, Nicole enjoyed a lunch out with her man at the Four Seasons.

I guess it’s safe to assume that these “maternity” clothes will fit a woman of normal weight. Because a size double-zero like Nicole probably thinks it’s safe to assume the rest of us are just pregnant.
