Queerty.com reports that the National Enquirer is trying to out The Hurt Locker‘s Jeremy Renner. Their reasons: He brought his mom to the Oscars, he likes showtunes, and he prefers to play “emotionally complex characters.”
Smutty Enquirer has a track record of attemping to out Meredith Baxter, Larry Birkhead and Gayle King. They published a quote from Renner’s old acting coach, who spoke with another publication some time ago.
“I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy’s boyfriend, but the fact that Jeremy is gay has never been a primary concern.”
My thoughts: WHO CARES. Hollywood has tried to hide homosexuality for too long a time. Free to be you and me.
Happier thoughts: Renner and the delightful Charlize Theron at the 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony.

Jeremy Renner is a fantastic actor and it angers me that once an actor is recognized that the gay rumors ignite like a wildfire in California. Who cares if he is gay or not. My opinion is that Jeremy Renner is one of the best actors of his generation. Every movie I see him in I absolutely love. As you can tell I have a crush on this sizzling actor who is only going to get bigger. His portrayal of Jeffrey Dahmer was right on and imagine the toll on him for playing such a disgusting serial killer. I loved him in The Hurt Locker and the tv series The Unusuals. I will watch anything that this gorgeous talented actor is in b/c he literally makes the roles his own and is very believable. It shouldn’t matter if an actor is gay or straight as long as they are doing their jobs. You have my vote Jeremy Renner for sexiest man alive!
