Nude Joanna Krupa Pissing Off Catholic Church

December 2nd, 2009 // Leave a Comment

Former Dancing With The Stars contestant, Joanna Krupa, has posed for a nude photoshoot for PETA in order to encourage people to adopt animals, rather than purchasing them.

While Krupa is no stranger to posing nude for PETA, having bared it all to declare that she’d rather go naked than wear fur, the Playboy pinup struck a pose wearing nothing more than a strategically-placed crucifix and some giant wings and a halo with the slogan, “Be an Angel for Animals: Always Adopt. Never Buy” emblazoned across her bare legs.

Responding to the image, the Catholic League has labeled the animal rights group “animal killers” and “a fraud,” claiming that PETA’s poster “exploits Christian symbols.”

In a statement, Joanna has said, “As a practicing Catholic, I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads, which I am very proud of.”

You’re shocked? Really?
