Olivia Wilde is letting the good times roll.  She enjoyed a concert at LA’s Troubador with Ryan Reynolds yesterday (lucky girl) and today the Cowboys & Aliens star put on her fedora for lunch with a pal.  Wilde’s career is on the up-and-up, but we’ll never forget her time spent as Alex on The O.C.

What’s next for the newly single actress?  A possible role opposite Mark Wahlberg in David O. Russell‘s The Silver Lining Playbook.  According to Cinema Blend, Wilde is testing for the role of Tiffany, the widowed sister-in-law of Wahlberg’s character’s best friend (are you keeping up?) .  Tiffany is a “depressed woman who, when her husband dies, goes on a sexual spree, even at the cost of her job.”  This meshes perfectly with Wahlberg’s character, who is a former high school teacher just released from a mental hospital trying to get back together with his ex-wife.  Other actresses who are testing for this role are Blake Lively, Rooney Mara, Elizabeth Banks, Kirsten Dunst, Rachel McAdams and Andrea Riseborough.
