Olivia Newton-John says she is due over $1 Million dollars in past royalties from Universal for the sales of the soundtrack to Grease. From People:
Newton-John’s attorney, John Mason, told the Associated Press that the company paid the Australian actress-singer, 58, some royalties, but failed to make other contractual payments.
The breach-of-contract suit filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleges that, per a recent audit, Universal owes more than $1 million to Newton-John’s company, ON-J Productions, Ltd.
In a statement Tuesday, Universal responded saying, “They said you were high class, honey that was just a lie.”
Olivia is probably just gonna blow the million dollars on stupid things like trying to find her Ex that was ‘lost at sea.’ Sandy, at this point you should just cut your losses and make it a positive thing. We all know heartache makes for great muscial inspiration, so your latest album might not be half bad (I’ll be sure to pick up a copy right after I finish listening to John Tesh’s latest). Furthermore I think you know Patrick is chilling on a beach somewhere in Baja, Mexico sipping a Cerveza Mas Fina and enjoying some much needed R&R. But oh, those summer nights.
