Anna Nicole Smith’s body will now be released from the coroner’s office after a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge ruled that enough DNA had been procured from Smith’s remains to satisfy Larry Birkhead and his legal team.
“Based upon the determination of our lab this weekend that we had sufficient DNA samples, we notified both parties that we have no problem with the release of the body of Anna Nicole Smith,” said Debra Opri, the lead attorney for Birkhead.
Now that the DNA has been acquired for the paternity testing to begin, it’s been recommended that Anna’s body be released to a funeral home so arrangements may be made to finally lay her to rest. However, that’s a whole new battle altogether, with Howard K. Stern fighting for Anna to be buried with her son in the Bahamas against the wishes of her mother, who hopes to bring her daughter back to Texas.
Um. This is just sad.

They need her DNA because I think they don’t trust each other for swiping others DNA & replacing hers. I think thats the reason. It’s totally unbelievably how greedy people are. All that money (her late husband) had and not one of them were able to take it with them when they died. Even HKS, Birkhead, her mother, and little Daniellynn will not take that money with them beyond the grave when they all die.
But really, Anna should be buried with her son who she loved the most (besides her daughter) in this world. Her mother disgusts me the most in all this.

Child abuse is not legal. Why is Vergie Arthur not being looked at by law enforcement for her abuse of Anna? No human should go through child abuse, and no adult should get away with it.
