Ralph Lauren will be honored at the New York Public Library. He is this years recipient of the America Fashion Legend Award. Of course it isn’t just any old event. It is a gala of the crème de la crème of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. June 4th will bring Oprah to the big apple to present the aforementioned award. Lauren personally asked that “Op” bestow the award unto him.

I have never been to the gala, but all I am picturing is Oprah climbing up something like Pride Rock on “The Lion King” and holding up the Ralph for the common folk to bask in his glory.
