Oprah Does Some More Good

Oprah continues with her humanitarian endeavors, the latest of which includes selecting students for the all-girls school she’s built in South Africa. From People online:

The talk-show host has been planning the $40 million Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, to be built on 52.7 acres south of Johannesburg, since 2002. On Sunday in Pretoria, she told the 73 girls aged 11 and 12 – who thought they were attending another interview – that they’d been accepted.

…compared to my humanitarian efforts, which include not hitting any homeless people with my car this week. It’s like I’m the Angelina Jolie of abysmally mediocre charity causes.
