Talk show goddess, Oprah Winfrey, has packed her bags and headed to Copenhagen, Denmark to lobby for Chicago’s big for the 2016 Games. Winfrey tells the International Olympic Committee, “I love and believe in Chicago, and I think it would be the perfect host city for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”

In addition to Oprah’s efforts, First lady Michelle Obama and a slew of Olympic gold medalists are also rallying behind the support for Chicago.

While President Barack Obama has yet to decide if he will personally advocate for the city, Oprah’s efforts have already made quite an impact, according to the Chicago 2016 chairman Patrick Ryan.

Ryan explains, “As a member of our community and as someone who understands and demonstrates the value of helping others, she embodies the spirit of so many Chicagoans and is truly an emissary for our bid and for the city of Chicago.”

Shit, well, if Oprah’s on the case, consider it a done deal.
