Cash, jewelry and a number of pricey watches constituted the loot that burglars were able to snatch from the Hollywood Hills home of Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom.

Bloom was in New York at the time and rushed home after a relative learned of the break-in this morning. It appears that the culprits made their way inside through a window and Orlando hastened to make a list of stolen items to police.

An insider reveals, “Orlando is gutted that his personal space has been invaded.” Poor guy hasn’t been having much luck lately, after experiencing a car accident last month. If I were him, I don’t think I’d be tempting fate with a motorcycle ride.

As for the suspects, I might as well voice what we’re all already thinking. Pirates, of course.
