Am I the only one who did not like Michelle Williams’ dijon-colored chiffon ’30s-style gown by Vera Wang? Otherwise, I thought she looked great. I was not a fan of Ludacris in his velvet Armani tux. It just didn’t work for me. Oh, poor Naomi Watts. First she wore this hideous flesh-colored Givenchy gown, and then she had to present with Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams sitting in the front row. While Keira Knightly‘s wine-colored Vera Wang gown was gorgeous, her hair wasn’t almost as bad as Tim Burton‘s and Helena Bonham Carter‘s. What on earth was Jada Pinkett Smith thinking? Electric blue? Gary Busey needs no explanation.
Now as for Charlize Theron‘s dress, celebrities should keep the following in mind: GIGANTIC BOWS NEVER WORK!
Several news agencies are reporting that oscar-nominated actress Charlize Theron was enlisted to provide extra security for Hollywood’s most glamourous evening. Although Ms. theron’s dress drews gasps and guffaws for the turkey-sized blue bow on the left shoulder, insiders report the bow actually contained a TX-575 rocket launcher, that was capable of firing surface-to-air rockets with the slightest touch of a button hidden in the Ms. Theron’s small clutch purse.

Paris Hilton tries to upstage everyone by going to the birds. Madge is showing her age, and the feathered hair isn’t doing her any favors either. Lindsay Lohan‘s dress is just plain odd looking, and what the fuck is up with Sharon Stone? She’s typically very stylish, but that “There’s Something About Mary-esque” hair, and butterfly ensemble is just plain tragic. Last, we have Dave LaChapelle, Sharon Osbourne and Pamela Anderson whom together make for one tacky trio.
I’d still do her big bow and all. Charlize=sexxxy as hell.
Well, for the record I loved Keira Knightly’s dress, jewelry AND hair. I thought it all worked very well together, and I love the few photos where the camera flash really show how beautiful the sheen of her dress was.

I liked Michelle Williams’ dress, even the color. But you are right on the money with everyone else. I so wish Sharon Stone had been a presenter in that outift, it would have been something to talk about at least.

my co-worker said j-lo’s dress looked like the inside of a casket. (i thought it looked good on her-conservative, but good.) the chick with tim burton looked like ‘nightmare on sunset blvd’ meets edward scissorhands. i loved jennifer garner’s near fall skid across the floor when she came out to present. i bet j-lo was thinking “that’s what you get for hookin’ up with my ex.” and if anyone watched the E! channel’s live red carpet coverage, issac mizrahi was priceless when he asked jake gyllenhal(sp?) if it was “fun” kissing Heath in the movie!
I’m usually not a fan of Jennifer Lopez, but I think she definitely looked the best last night. I LOVED her dress, especially the color!
In every picture I’ve seen of Charlize, her head is listing to the right to balance out that stupid bow. Way, way, way over the top. Is she mentally ill?
The best dress was on Jennifer Lopez. Loved the colour, the style, the fabric….it was unusual and beautiful.
Michelle’s dress? Okay – but I make it a policy never to wear anything with a fold that points at an unmentionable area. Her makreup? Ghastly. One should never mix bright red and dijon. (That’s why you don’t put ketchup on a bratwurst, only dijon mustard!).
Keira…well, I can’t knock someone for having such a great attitude.
And Uma redeemed herself with a great choice!
No you’re not the only one who thought Michelle Williams dress wasn’t the right one for her.
She’s really a very pretty woman, and she has such a nice smile, but she always looks like a little girl playing dress up to me.
She’s on the shorter side with narrow hips and broad shoulders, and the dress did to much accentuating “negatively” of those area’s IMO.
Michelle Williams’ dress was my absolute favorite. She looked like an art deco dream!!!! J-Lo looked classy and gorgeous. Loved Jada’s dress – nice/rare color.
Jennifer Aniston looked like a mess. That nose! Around all these beautiful women, it is clear how ugly Jennifer Aniston is. Even with an awful dress, Charlize Theron is 100 times more beautiful than Aniston.
Uma Thurman had a nice dress. Jennifer Garner looked nice. So did Hilary Swank. ANd Felicity Huffman. Aniston was atrocious.
kiera gets my vote for best dressed. normally I dont find her that interesting but she looked fabulous and elegant but original. stuck out more than anyone else (in a good way).
i don’t know why everyone is so ga-ga over keira. she’s kinda ghetto thuggish, especially with her posture and the way she keeps her mouth open long after she finishes a sentence.
i think michelle williams looked divine and wish that she had won the oscar. if you guys remember her from dawson’s creek, remember she had that awkward duck body with a large head and compressed torso… but seeing her at the oscars shows how she has transformed beautifully.
and is it just me, or does hilary swank look teeny tiny?
and can someone tell me why salma hayek is always at the oscars? what has she done that was so great? and on that note, i agree with everyone about jennifer aniston. i noticed last night how small her nostrils are and how bulbous her nose is.

I have to say, I didnt see ONE Oscar look I cared for. Not a ONE. It was a parade of withered husks and exposed clavicle bones dipped in insta-tan and swirled in spools of gaudy fabric. Why did everyone have structed bodices that either mashed their breasts down or shoved them into their earlobes?
And did anyone notice J-Lo had no eyebrows?
I swear, I see people on the street, without stylists and designers, who look nicer and sexier than these celebs on their big day.
Keira looked perfect! She really pulls it together for big events. The older ladies need to take note. I thought J.Lo looked like a slug….that color is just not flattering to her skin tone.
it is kind of ridiculous to feel sorry for naomi presenting an oscar in front of heath. she kept her relationship going until she could talk him into doing brokeback mtn, which his agent argued against. why do you think everyone in hwd is as cynical as you evidently are? her mum told me she was happy that found someone for himself since naomi was too independent for him. by the way, she was honorary chair of the independent spirit awards & awarded best picture to brokeback mountain.
as for her dress, she does not care what other people think. how many of you dress to please others & not yourself? when she is acting, she has to please the director (not you or critics). when she goes on the red carpet, which she hates, she only cares aboout pleasing herself, as an independent woman.
she is also recognized as having beautiful complexion. i am sorry she does not have dark complexion for you. so why engage in reverse racism? would anyone say a black woman should not wear certain colors. instyle said she was the best dressed 2yrs ago when she wore a similar color. she just won an award (PRwire) as the 2d best dressed woman in the world. was
this my favorite outfit? no. but she still looked as beautiful as in king kong. remember the colors she wore in that?
by the way, it would be nice if you learned how to spell naomi…not namoi on the list on top.
