Celebrating the end of both 2006 and his divorce from Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey seemed more than happy in the arms of his new love, Vanesssa Minnillo, this past New Year’s Eve. People has the details:
Just before midnight, the two – who’ve been dating for eight months – took their spot in the window facing down on the crowd and discussed the end of 2006 and the big bash going on below them for the MTV cameras. But off camera, things heated up between the lovebirds. Lachey whispered into Minnillo’s ear and kissed her neck. The occasion appeared to overwhelm Minnillo, who responded by dabbing away joyful tears.
Meanwhile, Jessica–bless her heart–is busy trying to collagen-inject/botox her pain away with sad results. Personally, I think all of those “beautifying” injections might be affecting her judgement because, John Mayer…really? That’s the best you can do?
