In a surprise announcement, Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that this year’s Ozzfest is going to be free. All of the bands performing at the hard-rock music festival will be performing gratis for their fans, but will have the option of selling CDs and merchandise, should they so choose. Staying true to the original format of the festival, fans should expect nothing less than business as usual this time around. And of course, Sharon Osbourne, never one to disappoint in the sound-byte department, had this to say:
“We’re not about to have 20 chanting monks. We’re not going to save the forest,” she said. “We just rape and pillage and go home.”
Until I read this very “pirate” quote of hers, I never realized how much she has a tendency to dress a bit like Captain Jack Sparrow. Occasionally wearing Hunter S. Thompson’s sunglasses, of course. All of which I’m assuming is an homage to Johnny Depp’s acting career.

I’m shocked she didn’t use the F-word. Last time I heard a quote from her she said: “I don’t f-ing care if you f-ing believe me or f-ing not you silly f—. She’s so charming. Ha.
