Pam in a Pickle with PETA

July 20th, 2006 // Leave a Comment

Pam’s experiencing a little bit of dilemma with her long-time pet charity, PETA, because of her new restaurant BlackSteel. Janet Charlton’s Hollywood tells us:

Pam partnered up with her personal chef , Chef J, and they opened the Hollywood restaurant BlackSteel. The tasty and sophisticated menu devised by Chef J includes both foie gras and – hold onto your hats – lobster! PETA got wind of these forbidden menu items and they are FURIOUS. After all, Pam is their spokesperson! Pam would like to see the dishes removed from the menu but her chef isn’t convinced.

Pam. Yes, it would be absolutely crazy and cannibalistic for PETA to ruin a perfectly good relationship with one of their most high-profile celebrity advocates for their cause, were they to turn on you because of this incident. But think about it, your relationship with PETA has outlasted husbands and boyfriends and God knows what else in between. Don’t you owe it to yourself to do everything you can to preserve the closest thing you’ve had to a functional relationship in your life?

Next thing we know, we’re going to find out your breasts are really made of veal.
