It was as if William and Catherine were 25 again, leaving one of the nightclubs in London they frequented while still dating. This time around there were no smirks or red faces courtesy of Mahiki’s treasure chest cocktail.
After a taxing day spent at his former nanny’s funeral in Essex, the Duke of Cambridge met up with his wife for a dinner at Loulous’s, a members-only club in the city’s Mayfair neighborhood.
Catherine kept her head down to avoid looking at the cameras (smart girl), while William looked displeased to see that paparazzi had been waiting outside the restaurant. The couple split apart so that it was trickier for the paps to get a good shot.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked absolutely gorgeous in a black coat and dress, her long, shiny locks in their classic curls. Earlier that day, Catherine completed several engagements in North East London, and delighted many a well-wisher who stepped out to meet her. 10-year-old Terry Campbell was brave enough to ask for a hugh (he got one), and community volunteers showed off their gardens to Her Royal Highness.
According to Hello! Magazine, a few of the gardeners recalled Catherine mentioning that she too grows vegetables, though she claimed hers were not as impressive as the theirs.
You’re too modesty, HRH.
Update: According to the Daily Mail, William and Catherine stopped by a private party around 10pm to hang out with Pippa Middleton, Princess Eugenie, MP Zac Goldsmith and his sister, Jemima Khan.
“Nobody knew they were coming and then at 10pm they were swept in through a back door. They stayed for about couple of hours,” a witness told the Mail.
