Because they cause such a ruckus every time they step out, Tom Cruise has decided to build an in-house gymnastics studio at his and wife Katie Holmes‘ Manhattan apartment in the East Village.
According to a source who blabbed to Star magazine, Suri Cruise really enjoys her private gymnastics classes at Chelsa Piers but the resulting paparazzi swarms were just too much. Because of that, funnyman Tom decided to build a build a gymnasium in the couple’s apartment, complete with $7,000 worth of equipment.
With two mini trampolines, a balance beam, tumbling mats and a set of bars, a private instructor will come to the house to give Suri daily one-hour lessons.
I understand the annoyance of having the media all up in this poor girl’s face, but let’s just be careful she doesn’t turn out like Blanket Jackson.

I honestly feel bad for the little girl. She’s going to grow up socially awkward if her parents keep isolating her from the world. It doesn’t appear like she has any friends! Just her mom and dad, which sucks. They need to get her together with little Matilda Ledger or even Christy Turlington & Ed Burns’ little girl, since they all reside in NYC as well. It’s just sad that she’s becoming soo isolated :(
Well, if she has Tom’s height she’ll be perfect for gymnastics. ;-)

There should be a tough law forbidding paparazzi from doing their things when kids are involved. Add this report to the fact she’s stuck in a Scientology environment.
It may already be too late for her.
Sury should take gymnastics
lessons in Texas in the future
and train with the best gymnastics
coaches in the country.
Training in Texas could really
help her have a normal youth,have
more friends that have things in
common with her,plus be more
confident and not worry about
having paparazzis 24/7 around her.
Hopefully she will become very
serious about gymnastics someday.
I would like to see Sury
Cruise in the Olympics been part
of a gymnastics team,that would be
nice. I am glad that her parents
support her interest in the sport.
I agree that the media attention is
too much for this little girl. It’s
like the parents are not shielding
her away from the paparazzis.
Someday if she has the opportunity
she should train in Texas,maybe
with former olympic gymnast
Kim Zmeskal who I heard gives
lessons in Houston or possibly
in another top rated gym. Dancing
and gymnastics could help her with
her self esteem,be stronger and
have the chance to interact with
other kids if she ever forms part
of a team. Future training outside
New York and L.A. could also
benefit this beautiful little girl
a lot and help her feel more
normal.
