Heiress Paris Hilton‘s Fourth of July celebration at her Malibu beach house was briefly interrupted by one man who wasn’t exactly on the guest list.

With a blue sundress-clad Hilton watching from the balcony, police arrested alleged stalker James Rainford, who was found in violation of a restraining order Hilton had previously filed against him.

The U.K.’s Daily Mail reported that photographers and beachgoers spotted Rainford looking inside Hilton’s house. An eyewitness told them that Rainford “was hanging around on the beach while Paris was inside… Someone recognized him as being the man who had given her trouble in the past and the cops arrived pretty quickly.”

Rainford previously served jail time after allegedly attacking Hilton’s former boyfriend Cy Waits back in April, and earlier this year, was given 3 years probation and ordered to stay 200 yards away from Hilton after trespassing and trying to contact the reality star.

This incident with Rainford, now in jail, follows last week’s conviction of Nathan Lee Parada, who tried to break into Hilton’s house last summer and was sentenced to two years in prison.
