Chynadog, most people are not jealous of the way Paris looks. The comments directed towards her appearance are a result of her own vanity. She openly admits to being infatuated with herself and her appearance, praising it above all others. Someone with absolutely no humility like her openly invites, and in all honesty, deserves to be criticized.

She does a disservice to all the women in the world who strive to be a value to society, yet have to live up to her self imposed standards of what beauty is. She is anathema to anyone with a sense of self who bases their worth on what they can contribute to society as a whole, rather than what they look like in a soft core porn video.

I agree with jodroc. There are a lot of celebrities I don’t like but it seems like a waste of time and energy to actively HATE someone you don’t know. There are worse people out there; murders, rapists, terrorists, child molesters. Sure she’s annoying but she’s defintely not as bad as some other people. I’d rather be stuck in a room with her than a rapist. She’s a product of her environment, I’m not saying it’s ok and that she shouldn’t try to do something with her life but I get the distinct impression that she was never taught that. I’m sure she got the “you can be anything you want to be” speech from her parents but instead of having lawyer or doctor on the list it was model or actress.

Besides her great grandfather, everybody else in her family hasn’t had to work like average people do. They were born into a family that already had a company so they automatically have a job. And if they didn’t want to work there they had more than enough trust fund money to get an apartment, fund their education and look for a different job, not to mention the connections they have because of their family name. They never knew what it was like to struggle to get the job that they wanted so they couldn’t teach her.

No talent and all that money…must be truly insecure to have to put herself out there in the fashion that she does…granted shes smart in the sense of making herself “known” and making her own money, but I’d hate to wake up in th morning and reflect on why everyone knows who I am…

List, it’s not a question of “hating” Ms. Hilton. But how can anyone with any sense of decency and morality admire her? I suppose that the fact that she is America’s No.1 public slut does garner some publicity. But her, and all the folks like her who are filthy rich, never known a hard day in their lives, and never break a sweat (except in copulation) display a level of selfishness and selfcenteredness that’s totally repugnant. With all her money, resourses, and plain old spare time, she could be doing so much good for so many people. The assistance, exposure and awareness she could bring to any number of social problems could dramatically change the lives of many deserving adults and children who simply have it rough, who are struggling to get over, who are not looking for a pot of gold, but sure could use a little help.

Instead of taking an honorable path, she plays the trash-whore-slut for the world to see. She could be building a reputation as true humanitarian, instead her legacy (even in the minds of those who “admire” her) will be that of Super-Slut.
